Draft — review with a lawyer
This text is a first draft written for discussion. It is not yet legally reviewed and is not in force. Points in [square brackets] still need a decision.
Privacy policy
Draft of 7 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data FinoExpert Technologies ("we") handles on this website and in Phono Count, why, and the choices you have.
1. Who is responsible
For shop owners' and staff accounts and for billing, we decide how the data is used. For the data a shop records in Phono Count (its customers, sales, suppliers and so on), the shop decides, and we process it only on the shop's behalf and instructions.
2. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising trackers. The contact form sends nothing from the page: it opens your own WhatsApp or email app with your message, and you choose whether to send it. Our hosting provider keeps short technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the site.
3. Phono Count accounts
We keep the owner's name, email address and phone number, the shop's name and details, staff names and roles, login and security records (such as the time, device and IP address of sign-ins), and subscription and payment records.
We use them to provide and secure the service, bill the subscription, and contact you about your account. The app uses only the cookies it needs to keep you logged in and remember your language.
4. Data shops record about their customers
A shop may record its customers' names, phone numbers, purchases and repairs. That data belongs to the shop. We do not use it for our own purposes, sell it or share it with other shops or suppliers. The shop is responsible for telling its customers and having a lawful reason to keep it.
5. What FinoExpert staff can see
Our staff see a shop's subscription and usage only, not its sales, costs, prices or customers. If a shop owner grants temporary support access, it expires on its own and every use is recorded.
6. Where data is kept and who helps us
Phono Count data is stored on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), encrypted in transit and at rest, with daily backups kept separately.
We use a small number of trusted providers for hosting, the database, email and error reporting [list to be finalised before launch]. They may process data only to provide their service to us.
7. How long we keep it
We keep account data while the account is open and for [number] days afterwards so it can be exported, then delete it, except records that the law requires us to keep, such as billing records [to decide].
8. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how it is used, as provided by Jordan's Personal Data Protection Law [to confirm the law and its requirements with a lawyer]. If you are a shop's customer, please contact that shop first.
9. Security
We protect data with strict separation between shops, permission checks inside the database, two-step login for sensitive access, limits on repeated login attempts, and regular backups with restore tests.
10. Children
Phono Count accounts are for businesses and their staff, not for anyone under 18.
11. Changes and contact
We will publish any change to this policy here and tell account holders about important changes.
